1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight, and to some, height.
2. Keep learning. Never let brain idle. An idle mind is the devil's workshop.
3. Enjoy simple things.
4. Laugh often, long and loud until you gasp for breath.
5. Tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on.
6. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it is family, pet, keepsake, music, plant, hobby, whatever.
7. Cherish your health.
8. Smile and enjoy life!
